A stage play based on the life of t. s. banks as he navigates the medical industrial complex, to access care around his mental wellness challenges. the play is build around interview done with himself and Rain Wilson. L&U featured a 7 person cast, follow the say in the life as, T, struggles to make since of a new diagnosis and receiving adequate care. FEATURED IN FIRST WAVE'S LINEBREAKS HIP HOP THEATER FESTIVAL 2014

LNU: Spiritual is the sequel to L&U a stage play depicting Banks struggle with the Christian Church and their condemnation of Queer and Trans People. Bank Documents his experiences of struggling with schizo- affective disorder and seeking spiritual guidance. In his pursuit to wellness his identity comes in question as the reason for his mental anguish. Ultimately T find refuge in redefining his spirituality and choosing to live as his whole self, Queer, Trans, Mad, and Christian. FEATURED IN FIRST WAVE'S LINE BREAKS HIP HOP THEATER FESTIVAL 2015

WE THE 350: STORIES OF POVERTY, RACISM, AND INCARCERATION IN WI

We the 350, a stage play based on interviews done with organizers and activist in wi whose work focused on prison abolition and the current campaign to free 350 black folx whom are disproportionately incarcerated in Dane county Jail. the play focused on interviews earliest memories or racism and incarceration. Some accounted past experiences of being incarcerated, parole, or having family incarcerated. Through poetic transcription Banks weaves together their stories in a sark portrayal of the current day jail and prison systems of WI and gives voice to those most impacted by the incarceration system.

WHEN THE MARKS FADE: STORIES OF BLACK SURVIVAL AND RESILIENCE  2016

A stage play featuring the stories of black survivors of domestic violence from the midwest. After a series of 6 interviews from black women, queer, trans and disabled folx, T. Banks, poetically transcribed their stories into a short 50 minute play focusing on domestic violence and sexual assault between intimate partners, siblings, parent and child, and the journey to spiritual, physical and mental wellness after enduring and surviving trauma.

TRUTH. TONGUE. SPIT. 2016

Poets, Playwrights, and MC's from UW Madison debut personal narratives about being Black, Queer, and learning and a predominately white institution. Narrative were workshopped amonst performing members and debut their work to a mixed crowd of students, educators, administrators and Madison community members. Most performers performed with mixed mediums, between, tradition hip hop emcee fashion, extended dialog, plays, and music. Afterwards each performance, audience members were invited to have a talkback with the writers.
